The 23nd Annual Volcano Cannonball Run Classic Car Show will be on Saturday, July 4th 2015 , from 6am-3pm — classic cars and muscle cars, an Independence Day Parade, fun foods, live music by Crystal Image and The Route 88 Band, arts and crafts, raffle prizes and the historic Poker Walk through Volcano.
Some of the fair’s featured taste sensations include a delicious breakfast, prepared by the Masons, great food and drink at The Volcano Union Pub + Inn, barbecue burgers at The St. George Hotel, various sundries and sandwiches from Kneading Dough Bakery, and barbecued tri tip sandwiches at The General Store, to name a few.
The Independence Day Parade, led by The Volcano Community Association, is a spirited reflection of Volcano citizens’ sense of community.
The Cannonball Run, founded 23 years ago by Bob and Maureen Stanish, is Volcano’s largest fundraiser. The proceeds from this event help fund our youth scholarships, maintenance of our cemeteries, local fire services, and Sober Grad Night, as well as maintenance of the village, including the planting of flowers, keeping our park beautiful, providing clean public restrooms, holiday decorations and on-going building restorations, assuring the historic flavor of Volcano remains steadfast.
Spaces are still available for car/motorcycle entries as well as parade entries. For more information and entry forms, or to make a donation, contact Ed Tracey at The Volcano Union Inn at 209-296-7711
